Program Description:

Al Salam-o-Alaykum and welcome to our exciting weekend program where we blend the thrill of soccer with the values of Islamic teachings! Introducing WBFC’s "Kick & Learn”, a one of a kind experience designed for our energetic young stars.

Your child will dive into the world of soccer with engaging drills, friendly matches, and skill-building exercises. Our experienced coaches ensure a positive and inclusive environment where every child can shine on and off the field.

Beyond the soccer field, we embark on a journey of Islamic knowledge and character development. Through interactive lessons, stories, activities, and beneficial Khatiras that kick off each session, children will learn valuable lessons from Islamic teachings, fostering a sense of community, empathy, and respect.

Kick & Learn is not just about scoring goals; it's about scoring life skills! Our program aims to nurture well-rounded individuals by promoting teamwork, discipline, and a strong moral foundation.

From friendly soccer competitions to themed Islamic Khatiras, our program is filled with activities that make learning both enjoyable and meaningful.

We welcome children from all backgrounds, and skill levels creating a diverse and supportive community that celebrates unity in diversity.

Held every Sunday from December 31st to March 3rd at the ICCM (Islamic Community Centre Milton) gymnasium, "Kick & Learn" provides a seamless transition from the outdoor season to an enriching and active indoor playing experience.

Our program is not just about teaching soccer skills or Islamic values; it's about nurturing well-rounded individuals who can kick a ball with joy and approach life with kindness. Join us in creating a positive impact on your child's physical, social, and spiritual development!

PROGRAM DETAILS

Program Date:  Every Sunday from 21-April to 16-June (No session on May 12, 2024)

Time Slots (Age & Gender Based):

• Slot 1: 11am to 12pm - Boys & Girls 5-8 yrs
• Slot 2: 12pm to 1pm - Boys & Girls 5-8 yrs
• Slot 3: 2pm to 3pm - Girls only 9-13 yrs
• Slot 4: 3pm to 4pm - Boys only 9-13 yrs

Location: ICCM- Islamic Community Centre Milton Gymnasium - 8069 Esquesing Line, Milton, ON L9T 7L4 

Gear Required: 

• Indoor Soccer Shoes Outdoor Shoes/ Soccer Cleats are STRICTLY PROHIBITED 
• Jersey Tops are provided for participants
• All WBFC players are required to wear their jersey during all sessions, if the jersey is lost, players will need to purchase a new one for $30
• Returning Players, please wear your jersey from last season.
